Recent DC transplants Meghan and Dean are a power couple. The two do everything as a team— from refurbishing the house they bought together, to traveling across Scotland, to attending baseball games at Nationals Park. You need to only glance at their wedding photos to see that Meghan and Dean are madly in love with each other.
Meghan and Dean chose to host their wedding at the Capitol Hill Club in order to hold the ceremony and reception in the same building, as well as provide a location that was accessible by metro for their out-of-town friends and family. The venue can host up to 250 guests and provides dramatic lighting for the reception (look how nice the purple lights look in the photos!).
Some of my favorite moments from the wedding photos: when Dean sees Meghan in her wedding gown for the first time. The ring bearer walking down the aisle with his tongue out. The gilded baroque mirrors Meghan used when getting ready. And — always an emotional moment at every wedding — the father-daughter dance.
